Lifestyle Medicine Intensive Training Seminar

This specialty seminar is an intensive 11-day clinical training with hands-on experience treating advanced chronic disease with proven-effective lifestyle interventions using the Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIPhealth.com). Graduates receive 30 hours of category-1 CME from the official ACLM Board Review Course, and qualify to sit for the ABLM LM exam. Graduates will be prepared to use intensive LM treatments in their existing practices, or to establish a LM specialty practice providing intensive LM treatment.

 

Cost – LMT (Lifestyle Medicine Specialty Training)

  • 11-day Clinical Training tuition is $4,995

  • Early-bird discount is $1,495 (register 60 days in advance)

Lifestyle Medicine

Fellowship

A comprehensive 3 to 6-month post-residency clinical Fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine includes both didactic and practical training. Graduates receive all certifications described above, plus credit for the 10 live CME credits required to sit for the ABLM exam. (meets all requirements for LM certification)

​Fellowships start and end at dates determined during the application and enrollment process. Some training can be done off campus, but fellows must spend not less than 3 months on campus involved in direct patient care.

LM Fellowship Cost:

Fee for the 3 to 6 month Fellowship is $5,000 per month, including room and board. Assistance is available for recruiting corporate sponsorships. (Scholarships may be available, depending on funding.)

Clinical Preceptor / Supervisor

All training is precepted and personally supervised by John Kelly, MD, MPH, LM Intensivist, FACLM, Founding President of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Kelly was trained in Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology, and specialized in Lifestyle Medicine to treat and reverse chronic disease. He was Co-PI for a $2-million study on the use of LM to treat type-2 diabetes in the Marshall Islands. He has practiced specialty LM in both outpatient clinics and residential centers. He has treated hundreds of patients with Lifestyle Medicine using the proven Complete Health Improvement Program curriculum.
